The deadline for exchange students to send the documentation and perform the mobility during the first semester at UNICEN is 10/30/2017 and for the second semester until 05/30/2017.
Forms for student VISA
In order for a foreign student to have a study stay at a Higher Education Institution in Argentina, a VISA for studies must be processed. We recommend you read this link where you will find the different requirements to access the visa according to your geographical region.
To be able to register for an academic exchange in UNICEN, the foreign student must send the digital version of the updated copy of his / her Passport, Criminal Record Certificate, Birth Certificate and Medical Insurance Policy. These papers must be in their original version at the time of processing the visa once the student is already in Argentina.
Initial Contact
Exchange students can contact directly the Head of Internationalization of the Faculty of Economic Sciences or the person in charge of International Relations within the Secretariat of Institutional Relations of the Rectorate.
Once the student has completed all the corresponding forms, the "Letter of Acceptance" must be sent. It is important to get in touch with the person in charge of the area of International Relations of the Rectorate, to coordinate the form and the means by which the letter will be sent
Arrival to Tandil
The Head of the International Area will be the contact for the academic consultations of the foreign students before their arrival in the city and during their stay.
For all those extra-academic consultations the foreign student will have a local student assigned as tutor. The foreign student will arrive at the Omnibus de Tandil terminal, where he will be waited by his student tutor and accompanied by him to the place where he will stay.
Practices of solidarity
Among the academic activities it is proposed to the foreign students to carry out a solidary practice in some of the NGOs or organization with which the Faculty of Economics has a Framework Collaboration Agreement signed.At the same time, the possibility that the student can perform a pre-professional internship will be sought.
